Recognized as one of the four major plum groves in China, this enchanting garden transforms into a vibrant kingdom of flowers during the blooming season, showcasing thousands of trees adorned with dazzling blossoms.

To enhance the enjoyment, various interactive activities are available, such as tasting plum blossom wine, sampling plum blossom cakes, and participating in plum blossom photography contests.

Origin of the Name “Happy Village”:

The name “Happy Village” is derived from a beautiful folk legend. Long ago, this village was nameless and inhabited by a beautiful girl named Mei, who had a deep love for plum blossoms. Her home was filled with various plum trees, and during the blooming season, their sweet fragrance wafted for miles around.

One year, the villagers fell ill with a mysterious disease. In her determination to save them, Mei ventured through mountains and rivers to find an old sorceress who possessed the cure. In a selfless act, Mei gave her own heart to the sorceress to save her fellow villagers. To honor her sacrifice, the villagers planted numerous plum trees throughout the area. Since the plum blossom is also known as the “Flower of Happiness,” the village was named “Happy Village” in remembrance of Mei and her loving gesture.

The scenic area is supported by a green vegetable brand, establishing partnerships between urban dwellers and farmers through contractual arrangements for cultivation. City residents can choose the size of the plots they wish to farm, while local villagers provide seeds, seedlings, fertilizers, pesticides, and farming tools, taking care of daily cultivation and maintenance.

Visitors to Jiangjia Vegetable Garden can engage in hands-on farming activities under the guidance of local farmers, learning to weed, plow, sow seeds, and harvest.
