Location of the Panda
To find the 3D panda display, exit Chunxi Road Metro Station from Exit D. Follow the navigation to 77 Nanshamo Street (南纱帽街), Yingjia Building (盈嘉大厦) or the nearby Volvo store, and walk approximately 200 meters. You’ll soon spot the giant screen, ready for your photos!
Best Photo Spots
Opposite the Screen (Across the Street): Stand across the road from the large screen for the best frontal view of the 3D display. Be careful not to stand too close to the zebra crossing or the stone bollards, as it can obstruct others from crossing. Set your phone’s camera to 1.5x zoom and lower the exposure for a sharper, more vibrant image.
In Front of the Gucci Store: This location also offers a great angle for capturing the 3D visuals. Zoom in with your phone’s camera for the best shot!
IFS 7th Floor Terrace: For a more panoramic perspective, head to the 7th-floor terrace of the IFS building. You can also sit by the windows at one of the nearby restaurants and enjoy the show while having a meal. The terrace offers a great vantage point, allowing you to see both screens at once.
Best Time to Visit
The 3D panda display is best viewed after 8:00 PM and before 11:00 PM. After 11:00 PM, the screen usually goes dark. During each advertising segment, several seconds of 3D visuals featuring pandas, baby pandas, astronauts, and other characters are shown. Be patient, as the 3D visuals only last for a few seconds, so be ready to capture them as the ads near the end!
